A question I felt most dificult for me in this unit was to find the inverse of a function in which there were variables in both the numerator and the denominator.
  • Example: find the inverse of f(x)=2x+7/5(x)+12
I went to Mr. Jackson for help and learned that you have to multiply the denominator to the f(x) side. Then combine all like terms with the variable(x) on one side. Factor out the variable you were solving for. Solve.

-I hope this is help to others who had the same issues. IT NEVER HURTS TO ASK :)

  1. Keep asking questions and I'm sure you'll be fine the rest of the trimester. Make sure if something comes up that you're unfamiliar with that you let me know. I may assume you know it when you didn't learn that in your previous school.
