The more I think about it, the harder it becomes to think of something that actually inspires me. I could list a million little things in everyday life that "inspires" me to do something or create something. Honestly though, it's kind of a tough question to ask yourself.
However if I had to narrow it down to something, the first person that comes to mind is the television character, Carrie Bradshaw. It's not just her twirly skirts and dresses or her dazzling designer shoes, but simply the idea that she's pretty simple beneath that. She's this average New Yorker with a column in a newspaper and friends that say and do interesting enough of things for her to write about.
Carrie isn't just a television character with a glamorous life in the city, much like every character from the show "Gossip Girl" where life is fabulous (even for the supposedly poor characters), Carrie is just a girl who makes many mistakes and has the guts to publish and admit her wrongs publicly. Pretty daring, actually. I can't think of any woman in her right mind who would admit she's wrong. Honestly it's hard to think of a woman in right mind at all.
The point to this all, is that she inspires me because she isn't perfect. She inspires me because she doesn't always receive a fairy tale ending. Yet, very magically, she is able to wake up every morning, look in the mirror, smile and look fabulous in designer clothing.
"I felt like a fool. I had gone so far out on a limb with my feelings
that I didn't realise I was standing out there alone. When life gets
this confusing, sometimes there's only one thing to do, attend a
fabulous party." -Carrie Bradshaw (1998)

I think she represents you very well. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. You have the sense of humor that will allow you to laugh off anything that doesn't work out for you.
